Centrifugal compressors of varying sizes in accordance to API 617 Std. are driven by steam turbine / electric motor in most industrial applications such as fertilizer, refineries, petrochemical, steel & cement complex, transportation and.… .
Handling almost all type of gases; range covers pressure up to 800 kg/cm2 and capacity up to 350000 Nm3/hr.
At present we are participating in bellow projects:
The outer casing is a barrel, normally of forged steel, closed at each end by an end cover. The rotor, diaphragm and seals assembly are introduced axially into the casing. The bearing housings are integral with the end covers, and are easily accessible without requiring removal of end covers. The end seals are generally of the oil film type. Journal bearings, thrust bearings, impellers and other internals of the compressors are similar to those of the MCL type.
These compressors are exceptionally sturdy and are suitable for continuous operation for extremely long periods in the open, under widely differing climatic conditions and demand very little attention.
When gas inter-cooling is required, 2 BCL compressors are offered with intermediate suction and delivery nozzles. In this case, the impellers are arranged back to back, which reduces axial thrust.
Usually all high-pressure applications, with discharge pressure more than 40 kg/cm2 require BCL and 2BCL compressors. Mainly used for Ammonia Synthesis gas compressors in Ammonia plants, Carbon-dioxide gas compressors in Urea plants, Natural gas compressors for gas gathering, gas transportation, gas re-injection and lean gas compressors in LPG plants etc.
For compression of very high volumes, casings having double flow arrangement are used. This reduces the casing size and permits the compressor rotating speed to be maintained within the speed range of steam turbine so that turbines can be directly coupled to the compressor, eliminating gear boxes
DMCL Compressor features are similar to those of the 2MCL compressor. DBCL compressor features are similar to those of 2BCL compressor excepting that there are two suction and one discharge nozzle.
The integrally geared and packaged SRL Compressors are popularly known as API 672 Compressors. Single and multistage SRL compressors for low and medium pressures, are mainly used as blowers or boosters in industries, refineries and petrochemical plants. When large volumes of gases have to be handled at low pressure, a packaged integrally geared design provides compactness and economy.
These are multistage compressors for low and medium pressures with horizontally split casings. These compressors can be utilized in fertilizer plants, ethylene plants, lube oil plants, refinery processes, city gas distribution etc.
The horizontally split casing is either fabricated from plates or made of steel castings according to the duty of the compressor. The fabricated casing has several advantages and is preferred over cast construction. The journal bearings and thrust bearings are of the tilting pad type.
Shaft end sealing is achieved by labyrinth seals or by gas injection/extraction systems. For special duties, this is also achieved by using fully enclosed floating oil seals. The internal sealing between the various stages is affected by providing labyrinths at the front and back of each impeller. The impellers and diffusers are selected from a family of standard tested stages

These are multistage compressors for low and medium pressures, with horizontally split casings provided with intermediate injection and extraction nozzles. The compressor stages are selected for the respective flow quantities and arranged inline with an inlet and final discharge nozzles in the casing. These are widely used in ethylene, propylene, ammonia and other refrigeration applications where process gas injections / extractions are necessary.
